Turkish Competition Board initiated an investigation in the field of lift maintenance and repair

The Competition Authority concluded the preliminary investigation conducted to determine whether the undertakings operating in the field of lift maintenance and repair in Turkey violated Article 4 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition.

The Board evaluated the information and documents obtained at the meeting held on 15 August 2024 and decided that the findings were serious and sufficient.

In this context, it was decided to open an investigation against Anıl Asansör İnşaat Turizm Ticaret Sanayi Ltd. Şti., Bor Asansör, Bor Konfor Asansör, Çağrı Asansör, Dmr Asansör, EÇ Asansör, Kardeşler Avcı Asansör Makine Sanayi ve Ltd. Şti., Niğde Asansör, Sis-Tek Asansör, Strong Asansör, Tyana Asönsör İnşaat, UGR Asansör, Upas Asansör and 51 Asansör with the number 24-33/786-M.

The investigation aims to determine whether these undertakings have violated competition rules in the lift maintenance and repair services market.
