Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) is taking an important step to realise Türkiye's export targets and increase its current market shares. Within the framework of the ‘Decision on Export Supports’ numbered 5973 and the ‘Circular on Sectoral Trade Delegation and Buyer Delegation Supports’ with the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, manufacturers and exporters operating in the construction materials sector will come together in the trade delegation to be organised for Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This trade delegation, which will be held simultaneously with the ‘Big 5 Global’ Fair to be held in Dubai between 24-28 November 2024, aims to strengthen Türkiye's position in the global market in the construction materials sector. The Big 5 Global Exhibition is recognised as one of the largest and most influential exhibitions in the construction industry, with Dubai acting as a gateway between East and West. Companies from Türkiye will exhibit a wide range of products such as plaster, cement, paint and varnish, bricks, tiles, ceramic tiles, ceramic coatings, plastic construction materials, wallpapers, glass, iron and steel bars, profiles and wires, nails, nuts, sanitary ware, iron and steel pipes and fittings, iron and steel screws, bolts and other construction parts made of iron and steel, aluminium construction materials, heating and cooling devices, taps and valves, security and alarm systems and devices, insulated cables, lighting devices.
For Turkish companies wishing to establish a strong presence in the Middle East market, this event offers important opportunities to establish new collaborations and strengthen existing business contacts. At the same time, thanks to Dubai's strategic location, it is aimed for Turkish companies to open up to both the Middle East market and the global market.
This organisation of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce draws attention as an important step towards increasing the competitiveness of the Turkish construction sector in the international arena.
